Superstar!

Here's the video Kiley made. Isn't she awesome? She normally charges $3,000 per hour for this stuff. Fortunately, she gave me a 10% discount.

Supahhstahhhh! Great video, Matt, you could probably have a career as a newscaster if you wanted it! And I see that someone has both their mother’s impressive vocabulary and sense of humor…dumbbells for exercise and a 10% discount, indeed. LOL Paula, holy cow, where’d he get that deep voice – this isn’t a kid! He may well collect as many groupies along the way as Dean Karnazes – maybe even get you a DIL out of this, and wouldn’t that make a great “how we met” story for the grandkids! :-)

Yeah, his voice changed a few years ago. :-) Excellent video! Definitely a professional job. Thanks, Kiley! Hey, Matt, can't you convince her to come along and make a documentary film about the ride??

If she doesn't feel like riding her own bike, just put her in the trailer.

I told mom that someone needs to document your ride, Matt. And, after seeing this beautifully made, well-edited little short, I must insist: someone needs to trail you for at least part of the ride. They can get B-roll of you cycling and, when you finally take a day to regroup, they can interview you. It's not just about raising money for the LAF (although I think the video would help with that); what you are doing is inspiring on a lot of levels, and also very interesting. People will want to hear you talk about how it felt to do this or that, what you're worrying about, what you were thinking about or imagining. Anyway, consider it--you come across well on a screen, which not a lot of people do. The videographer doesn't have to be with you long--you can still have the solitude that I know must be a part of the motivation for you.

Keep up the great work on the blog, BTW. As always, you are a great writer.
